Hello! My name is Katt and I am a proud Latina born and raised in Los Angeles (Highland Park and Lincoln Heights). I am the eldest daughter of immigrant parents from El Salvador and a first generation college student. I have a Master of Public Health from the Community Health Sciences Department at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health . I also received my Bachelor's degree from UCLA where I double majored in Latin American Studies and Political Science. As a public health professional I seek to uplift historically marginalized populations to achieve health equity and systems-level change through collective action, community engagement, and data-informed decision-making.
